about

I leaned the waltz from co. Donegal from Eilin Begley the great singer from Kerry when recording her album in co Meath, the Devil in the Dirk is a Scottish tune by Skinner but played way more in Cape Breton & I learned it from touring with the Natalie MacMaster band featuring the island’s best piano player Mac Morin whom played it in the encore some nights.
